Teacher Training Course
Are you passionate about dancing and want to teach others?
The dance teacher training course is a practical work-related course studied 1 year part time. After completing the course you will have the opportunity to become a teacher at the company but have the freedom to teach elsewhere*. You can choose to assist a teacher between two to sixteen hours a week during term time and will need to attend two sessions of choreography and training during the term holidays.
Each trainee will be taught according to their schedule and ability. You can choose to do your training in Bollywood, Bhangra,Classical, Ballet or all three styles.
Some applicants may not be required to complete a whole year of training if they have some previous experience of teaching or if they choose to assist many hours per week.

Entry Requirements
You will be required to attend an interview and audition. You must have attended at least two years of dance training. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age. Exams and qualifications Within the year you will get to do the following exams and gain qualifications:
Course Fee We are only able to take on up to 5 students per year. Only £1200 for the full year (Please ask if you would like to pay in instalments) Exam fees are paid to UKA. |
