Anita's Dance Factory are looking for the right candidate to expand our team and develop our dance classes in the local community.
You will have a chance to learn dance directly from the company director and will learn how to teach dance classes successfully while completing your apprenticeship. The styles we mainly teach are Bollywood, Bhangra, Kathak and Ballet. However, we are looking to expand and teach more styles in the near future.
Candidates can be from the age of 16 to 40 years.
You will need to attend college once a week to study towards your Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing Exercide to Music as part of the national apprentaship scheme. This will be funded by us.
Successful candidates would normally do an hours admin work usually from home 4 days a week and at the studio once a week. They will also need to help deliver group dance classes during term time. These are normally Monday to Wednesday 3.30-9pm and on Saturdays 11am-1pm.
You will also have the opportunity to help out with private lessons, workshops and performances, which you will get paid extra for after some training.

The apprenticeship will be for 12-18 months with the weekly wage of £100-£200 depending on experience with a chance to earn extra by doing private lessons, performances, workshops etc.
After completing the apprenticeship you will be offered a permanent dance teachers position at the company. Salary will be between £15-£55 per hour depending on the class and your ability.
